Shipping - Canada and Continental USA

Flatrate shipping is calculated based on your order price.
MOST ORDERS WILL NOW BE SHIPPED FEDEX! 
Orders under $100 will be $15 shipping 
Orders between $100 - $250 will be $10 shipping 
Orders over $250 will be shipped for FREE

Shipping - Outlying Areas - AK, HI, PR (In USA) and YT, NU, NWT $25 Shipping

*Note that any customs and duties will be your responsibility. Typically USA Orders dont get charged unless over $800

* We reserve the right to cancel an order if the destination is remote and shipping costs are extreme. 

Shipping - Outside North America

Actual Rate of shipping will Apply. You will be charged 25$ Canadian on your order and a separate invoice will be sent to make up the rest of the actual shipping charges. (expect shipping at least $65 CAD)
*Note that any customs, duties and taxes will be your responsibility.
Notes on Shipping to your Country: 

This is new for me to ship Internationally, so we are learning as we go here. Please see the notes regarding your country or contact us if you have questions about shipping to your country. 

UK: Orders under $25 CAD (15 GBP) have no taxes or duties. Orders under $235 CAD (135 GBP) will have VAT but no duties applied when receiving your order.

Sweden: Orders under $1400 (SEK) or $210 (CAD) are exempt from customs and duties. VAT will still apply. 

Germany: No information on customs, duties, or taxes. They may be applicable.

Australia: No information on customs, duties, or taxes. They may be applicable.

New Zealand: No information on customs, duties, or taxes. They may be applicable.

Rest of the World: Look up your country's import fees and customs regulations and contact me for further info.

Kingfisher Solids Subscription Club 2022

This round it will run on a quarterly basis. You will get ~36-40 fabrics per shipment until you have the entire 160 piece collection in 4 shipments (October 2022, January, April, July 2023). Each of them come labelled and you get a chart of the entire collection. Contact us to sign up!

Quarterly (4x/year): Starts October 2022

Bundles for Pickup: 
¼ m bundles = $100 / quarterly
½ m bundles = $200 / quarterly

Bundles With Shipping Included:

¼ m bundles = $125 / quarterly
½ m bundles = $230 / quarterly

 

Winter Services

Online shopping continues as normal with a 1-3 day order fulfillment timeframe.

Longarm Quilting Services will be suspended Mid Dec 2022 - Mid March 2023.

In person shopping is always by appointment only. Call Jason at 250-718-4550 to arrange an appointment.

 

Can I pay with e-transfer?

Yes you can. If you have a small order you can email it to me and I will send you an invoice and you can send an e-transfer for the amount and I will mark it as paid.
For larger orders, you can even put items into your cart and email me that you have an abandoned cart and would like to pay by e-transfer. I will let you know the amount to send and I will turn that cart into an order.

Class Policies

Please read and understand the following before registering for a class - thanks!

General:

  1. Class fees must be paid in full at the time of registration to reserve your spot. Space is reserved on first-come first-serve basis.
  2. Supply lists will be given at the time of registration. Most classes also have sample quilts displayed in the shop.
  3. Class fees are for instruction only and do not include materials for class, unless otherwise stated.
  4. Most classes have a pattern, book, or specialized tool requirement. These will be noted on the supply list. Each student must have a LEGAL copy of the pattern or book.
  5. Some courses are all inclusive (e.g., class materials are bundled in the price).
  6. Students are required to bring (If required for the class); 1) a sewing machine in good working order, 2) machine accessories, & 3) basic sewing supplies to each class; unless otherwise stated. You should be familiar with the operation of your machine before class, please bring your manual if in doubt.
  7. We are more than happy to help you in your selection of class materials, but please do so prior to class.
  8. Some classes require a small amount of homework prior to the class. Please arrive prepared so that you can start on the fun part right away!
  9. Class will start on time, so please arrive at least 10 minutes early and be set up and ready to go.
  10. If you bring your cell phone to class please be considerate of others and put it on vibrate/silent prior to class. Please refrain from wearing perfumes, as some people have allergic reactions to scents. Also, if you bring a drink, please use a container with a lid.

Cancellations:

  1. Most classes have a minimum enrollment (usually 3 students). If the class is canceled due to low enrollment, you will be notified and all course fees will be returned in full (your choice of a refund or store credit).
  2. If you can't attend a course you have registered for, you will NOT receive a refund or store credit, though you may send a friend in your place.

    Please verify that any class you wish to enroll in meets your schedule and that you're OK with the cancellation policy before enrolling.
